FQHC APM SPA

Overview

Arizona is submitting a state plan amendment to establish a new Alternative Payment Methodology (APM) for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). This new APM will establish a baseline Prospective Payment System rate for each FQHC and multiply the rate each year by a banded inflation statistic. FQHCs can receive additional increases by achieving value based metrics. This new methodology will apply to the period 10/1/18-9/30/23.
