What is the OIFA Alliance?
To ensure individuals and families have a strong voice in driving change within Arizona’s Medicaid Program, Offices of Individual and Family Affairs (OIFA) have been established at AHCCCS and contracted health plans. The OIFAs are comprised of individuals with lived experiences of behavioral health, either personally and/or as family members, to ensure individuals and families have a strong voice in driving change within Arizona’s Medicaid Program. The OIFA Alliance was formed in May 2022 as a statewide partnership between all OIFA departments in Arizona. Together, we work to make sure that the health care system reflects the needs and voices of the people it serves.
