Upcoming MCO Procurements Communication

This communication page is dedicated to informing the public in a uniform way as decisions are made, milestones are met or notices are published regarding upcoming Managed Care Organization (MCO) procurements.

Major Decisions, Milestones and Notices

  1. On behalf of AHCCCS, Health Management Associates (HMA) is hosting a virtual stakeholder session for managed care plans on July 16th 2025.
  2. On September 18, 2025 AHCCCS posted notice of termination of the YH24-0001 ALTCS EP/D Procurement and intent to issue a new solicitation.
  3. On August 19, 2025, AHCCCS issued YH26-0030, a competitive task order for a Procurement Consultant to assist with the new ALTCS EP/D Procurement. On September 19, 2025 the task order was awarded to Pacific Health Policy Group.
  4. AHCCCS provides notice to the public for upcoming AHCCCS RFP Process Improvement Roundtables. It also provides information and scheduling options for related one-on-one meetings with organizations interested in responding to future AHCCCS/ALTCS managed care RFPs.
  5. Significant Procurement Role activities have begun for the upcoming ALTCS EPD RFP, YH27-0001. All activities relating to the procurement are confidential, unless otherwise posted publicly by the agency, and all inquiries relating to this procurement must be submitted to the AHCCCS procurement office.   6. The Summary of Stakeholder meetings, resulting from the AHCCCS Process Improvement Roundtables is now available. Process Improvement Summary 02/12/2026
  7. The Bidders Library for the upcoming YH27-0001 ALTCS E/PD RFP is now live. Announcements, major decisions and procurement documents specific to that procurement will be located on that Bidders Library Page.
  8. A Request for Information will be published by AHCCCS on Friday February 13, 2026 regarding programmatic requirements for the upcoming ALTCS E/PD Procurement.
