On June 23rd, 2014, AHCCCS requested a determination from the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) pursuant to A.R.S. 41-246 (A) to extend contract YH12-0001 - Arizona Long Term Care System for the Elderly and Physically Disabled, for a period of time in excess of the five year contract term. AHCCCS requested a one year extension beyond the five years ending September 30, 2016. ADOA approved this request on October 10, 2014 contingent on a public meeting to discuss the matter with interested parties with public comment period to follow.
