Join our Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) team for monthly community discussions! These events are designed to help members, families, and stakeholders learn about programs and initiatives, and to provide feedback. Be sure to share this valuable information with your patients, clients, families, and stakeholders so they can better understand Arizona’s Medicaid services and how to find community resources and tools.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: All AHCCCS members, family members, and stakeholders are welcome to attend.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN: AHCCCS members who are American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) always have a choice to enroll in an AHCCCS managed care health plan, or in the American Indian Health Program (AIHP), a fee-for-service (FFS) program. Join us to learn more.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: AAHCCCS members, their family members, stakeholders, advocates, and community members learn more and interact with Arizona’s Medicaid program.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:Arizona House Bill 2442 was passed into law in 2016 and became known as Jacob’s Law. It helped to correct many issues facing foster, kinship, and adopted children who receive behavioral health services. This presentation covers the following:
- Overview of Jacob’s Law,
- Review and Use of the DCS Placement Packet,
- Legal Rights & Protections for Children and Resource Parents, and
- Covered Services.
The training length is two (2) hours. Certificates of attendance will be provided.
