AHCCCS Behavioral Health Service Delivery Information
The Behavioral Health Services Guide is intended for fee-for-service providers, general AHCCCS providers, and those who are in the process of becoming AHCCCS providers. The guide provides the following information:
- Descriptions of covered services
- Explanations about service limitations
- Process and requirements of becoming an AHCCCS Provider
- List of service codes
- Detailed section that provides information about health plans and contractors
AHCCCS contracts with Regional Behavioral Health Authorities (RBHAs) to have a network of providers, clinics and other appropriate facilities and services to deliver behavioral health services to eligible members in their contracted geographic service area (GSA). AHCCCS has Intergovernmental Agreements for Tribal RBHAs with some of Arizona's American Indian Tribes to provide behavioral health services to persons living on the reservations.
