Persons who received SSI Cash in the past may be eligible for SSI MAO in the Disabled Adult Child (DAC), Disabled Widow/Widower (DWW), or Pickle category. Use the table below to see if the person meets the requirement for any of these groups:

Disabled Adult Child (DAC) |
· Received Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits on the basis of blindness or disability before reaching age 22; and · Become ineligible for SSI Cash because of the amount of their Social Security DAC benefit (see MA511). |
Disabled Widow/Widower (DWW) |
At any time since January 1, 1991: · Received SSI or State Supplementary Payments (SSP); · Received an SSI or SSP benefit for the month before the Social Security DWW benefit began; and · Become ineligible for the SSI or SSP benefit because of the amount of the Social Security DWW benefit (see MA512). |
Pickle |
At any time since April 1977: · Received SSI or SSP benefits AND Social Security benefits at the same time for at least one month; and · While receiving both Social Security and SSI or SSP, become ineligible for the SSI or SSP benefit. |

Accept either of the following as proof that a person has received SSI Cash or SSP in the past:
· Written or electronic Social Security records; or
· AHCCCS records showing the person was eligible for SSI Cash.
