3. KidsCare Parents now covered by permanent law

   Previously, the KidsCare parents program required reauthorization each year, causing speculation as to whether or not the parents of children enrolled in this cost sharing program, would continue to have health insurance. It is now written into law that KidsCare parents will continue to receive health care coverage.
