AHCCCS is committed to working with community partners, health care professionals, and other stakeholders to provide an understanding of AHCCCS programs and resources.
Eligibility for AHCCCS Care program (also known as Childless Adults) will be frozen July 8 2011. CMS approved the Phase-Out Plan on July 1, 2011. All members currently enrolled will remain on the program if they continue to meet their eligibility requirements including completing the redetermination process. Applications submitted after July 7, 2011, will be processed for other AHCCCS programs but will not be considered for the AHCCCS Care program.
Eligibility for the MED Program will be frozen May 1, 2011 and will end September 30, 2011. No one will be approved for the MED program for the month of May 2011 and ongoing.
