The BHS Recipient Daily Match file, transmitted five days a week from ADHS contains Add, Termination and Inactivation transactions. The AHCCCS BHS Daily Match process performs edits and updates the FYI table with BHS coverage dates after the transaction is validated; otherwise it is bypassed. After processing, AHCCCS will return the BHS Recipient Daily Match Response file to ADHS with information regarding the update status of each record, message codes, and eligibility status in addition to adding records to the file that were either manually updated or updated as a result of other activity to the FYI table. In addition to producing the BHS Recipient Daily Match Response file, AHCCCS will also produce a number of reporting files for ADHS including the Partial Match, Demographic Discrepancy, LTC Eligibility, Address Change, Health Plan Change and Third Party Liability files. Twice a month (once 3 days prior to the first of the next month and once on the last day of the month) a process will ensure that all BHS segments have appropriate eligibility/enrollment coverage. The BHS segment will be ended if member loses eligibility. Notification of this termination is made via the Monthly Termination File.
BHS Recipient Daily Match input file will be sent to the AHCCCS FTP server and will be used to run the BHS Daily Match and Update process.
This process produces no paper reports. The files created in this process will be sent to the AHCCCS FTP server and will be available for download by ADHS.
