Changes to the AHCCCS program with the passing of the State FY09 budget

• The SSDI-Temporary Medical Coverage program will be suspended. This will result in about 250 people being taken out of the program. If you are a member, please click here for more information. • KidsCare parents will now be covered by permanent law. Previously, the KidsCare parents program required reauthorization each year, causing speculation as to whether or not the parents of children enrolled in this cost sharing program, would continue to have health insurance. It is now written into law that KidsCare parents will continue to receive health care coverage.
