How do I apply?

  • Professionals:
  • You may click apply now on the navigation bar or bottom of each page; or at hr.az.gov/AZStateJobs/. Click on "Search for Jobs", enter the keyword AHCCCS, select the job title and/or region you desire then click the "Search" button. If you would like to view all open positions at AHCCCS only enter the keyword "AHCCCS".
  • Interns:
  • If you are interested in an internship, click the "Intern Program" link below the navigation bar on the hr.az.gov/AZStateJobs/ homepage. Under the "Interns-in-Action" navigation menu chose the "Prospective Interns" link for more information or "Contact Information" link to reach the statewide internship coordinator.

How do internal applicants apply?

Due to system changes internal applicants must apply through the external job board until the new Talent Acquisition System job board becomes available.

How do I know if my application has been submitted?

You will know your application has been successfully submitted once you receive the e-mail confirmation. To submit the application you must click the “Submit Application” button at the top of the application.

Clicking the “Done” button at the bottom of application will only save your application to the “My Applications” section of your profile. You must click “Submit” to actually apply to a position.

If you select “Done” you may go back and submit the application later. Simply click on the “My Applications” section and click “Continue Applying” to return to the application.

Why am I transferred to another website when I click "Apply Now" from the Featured Jobs page?

All applications for positions with the State must go through the hr.az.gov/AZStateJobs/ website. You will be able to search and apply for positions with AHCCCS on this site. For instructions on how to apply click here.

Why am I transferred to another website when I click "Internship Opportunities"?

All state internship applications must go through the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) Intern Program website. If you would like to participate in an internship at AHCCCS, please contact the Internship Program Manager. She will let you know whether there are any current opportunities. How long is the hiring process?

The hiring process can take several months depending on the number of applicants and the position requirements. Once you have submitted your resume via azstatejobs, you will receive a confirmation indicating that your submission was successful. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted directly by the hiring supervisor for the position you applied for. If you are not selected, you will receive an email indicating such. These are the only communications you will receive from AHCCCS once you have applied for a position. Inquiries regarding the status of your application will not be responded to. However, if you have general questions regarding the selection process, you can email Human Resources and Development at AskHRD@azahcccs.gov.
